Product Description
STEINEL LN 1 N is a white LED house number light with an integrated twilight sensor. Its slim rectangular shape helps visitors identify the entrance after dark while adding useful illumination beside the door. It also suits garage walls and other positions around the home where steady night-time lighting is useful. The gently curved opal plastic cover creates a simple, restrained detail on the facade.
The integrated 4.9 W LED light source delivers 440 lm of warm white 3000 K light. The illuminated front provides a clear background for the house number, making the address easier for guests and delivery drivers to find. A sheet of self-adhesive house numbers is included so you can personalise the fitting. The number shown in the photographs is an example. You can also use the light without the number stickers.
Automatic lighting from dusk to dawn
The photocell measures the surrounding light level. When it falls below your chosen threshold in the evening, the fitting switches on and remains illuminated through the dark hours. It switches off again when daylight is sufficient. The twilight threshold is adjustable from 5 to 200 lux, allowing the switching point to suit the entrance and your preferred evening lighting.
Adjustments are made with the control on the fitting. Operation follows ambient brightness, so the house number remains lit even when nobody passes the entrance. The LN 1 N has no motion detector. When choosing a position, remember that a permanently dark recess may prevent the photocell from reaching its daytime switch-off threshold.
Flexible installation around the home
Mount the light horizontally or vertically on a wall or ceiling. The UV-resistant plastic housing has IP54 protection and IK07 impact resistance for outdoor use. Its 56 mm depth keeps the fitting close to the mounting surface. Mounting accessories are included, and a mains supply is required. The LED light source and control gear cannot be replaced.
